About Me — Heidi Dalzell, Psy.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Newtown, Pa.

 
 

With 25 years’ experience as a therapist, Dr. Dalzell works with a broad spectrum of clients, including men and women of all ages. Areas of interest and specialization include eating disorders (especially at midlife), trauma, and working with sexual orientation and gender identity. Dr. Dalzell practices from a holistic lens, and therapy can include insight-oriented talk therapy as well as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).


Dr. Dalzell is co-author of A Clinician’s Guide to Gender Identity and Body Image and is a contributor to professional and consumer publications. She has presented nationally and internationally on topics connected to mental health and wellness.


Dr. Dalzell is an interactive and engaging therapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address life challenges. She offers a variety of techniques and a personalized approach for each client.
