Find Your Medicine
In Native American traditions, "finding your medicine" refers to connecting with your inner strength and purpose. This involves an understanding the interconnectedness of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of life. Finding your medicine may involve communing with sacred plant allys used to expand consciousness, working with modern psychedelics, using your own breath or meditation practices to enter a state of openness. Finding your medicine involves introspection and learning from mentors to achieve wellness and wisdom.

Hi! I'm Heidi.
If you've landed on this site, it's not an accident. Let’s explore how I can support you.
With roots in Western and natural medicine, including a doctorate in psychology, training and mentorship in indigenous practices, a strong connection to the beautiful land of Sedona, and a certification in psychedelic assisted therapy, I can help you to heal and to find your "medicine" -- your sacred purpose.

In Person or Virtual
Offering in person services in Lambertville, New Jersey (soon to expand to Sedona, AZ) and virtual services in NJ, PA and AZ. Coming to therapy should be relaxing. Grab a yoga mat or sit in our beautiful meditation area enjoying some quiet or grab a cup of tea. Our Sedona location will include options to be outdoors in nature or to spend time walking a labyrinth.

Empowering Tomorrow’s Healers
One of the most powerful ways to grow as a healer is to work with someone skilled in mentoring all aspects of your growth. Whether you are seeking your own deep therapy, looking to expand your expertise in working with eating disorders, trauma or psychedelic medicine, you are welcome here. I offer training, consultation and EMDR certification to support your personal and professional growth.

What is Therapy?
If you’re longing for deeper clarity, healing, or a sense of connection within yourself, therapy might be the next step on your path.
Therapy is a sacred space where you can slow down, tune in, and explore what’s really going on inside of you. It’s a guided conversation where I will hold space for your thoughts, feelings, and experiences—with curiosity, compassion, and no judgment. Together, we will uncover the patterns and wounds that may be shaping your life, and gently work through them. It’s not just about coping—it’s about reconnecting with yourself, healing old stories, and creating more inner peace, clarity, and meaning. I can support you in working on a range of concerns, including trauma, eating disorders and addictive behaviors, depression and many more. Over time, therapy can feel like coming home to who you truly are.

About You -- And Me
Are you ready to feel more serene, peaceful, and connected? Are you on your healing path, seeking support to reach your potential? If so, I can help you recognize your strengths and to move forward, all the while working together in an atmosphere of acceptance and kindness. This helps you to grow on many levels - mind, body and spirit. I have 30+ years experience as a psychologist, author and professional speaker. I work people with trauma/childhood abuse, eating disorders, addiction and many other concerns. If I can't help, chances are I know someone who can.
The greatest gift that I can give to my clients is the ability to recognize their own strengths. No matter how you may struggle or engage in unhealthy behaviors, we’ll work together in an atmosphere of acceptance and kindness. I see change every day, whether it is in a client who enters a new and healthy relationship, a patient who returns to school, or someone who stops a destructive pattern of behavior.
Therapy involves many components: learning why problems exist, expressing feelings about situations, and finding answers. We will achieve these goals in a way that is active and comfortable. I am also open to exploring holistic and mind-body healing approaches with you.
My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming and HAES-informed/weight inclusive. I welcome clients of all backgrounds. My connection to the LGBTQ+ community is based on lived experiences. I also have lived experience in active eating disorder recovery. These identities have supported client rapport and connection, gaining me Best of Bucks County, Best of Pennsylvania and Journey Clinical awards.
If you are seeking deep therapy we would work well together. I include approaches like EMDR (certified), mindfulness & breath work. I also offer in person and remote Ketamine Assisted Therapy and psychedelic preparation and integration services. The best way to find out if you are a fit for my style is to talk with me. To arrange a consultation call, please send me an introductory email.

If you’re looking for support and guidance or you’re ready for personal growth and to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.
