Mentorship

Mentorship between therapists is a quiet, sacred bond—an exchange not just of clinical
knowledge, but of lived wisdom shaped by empathy and experience. It is one soul, seasoned by
years of bearing witness to healing, reaching out to another just beginning to hold the weight of
other people’s truths. In this space, mentorship becomes more than guidance—it becomes refuge.
Mentorship between therapists is more than professional growth—it’s a quiet passing on of
perspective, steadiness, and care. It’s a relationship built on trust and shaped by shared purpose.
In supporting one another through the complex work of healing, both mentor and mentee are
reminded of their own resilience—and of the quiet power that comes from walking alongside
someone through the challenging parts of the journey.

EMDR Consulting
EMDR Consultation is a structured process in which an EMDR-trained therapist receives guidance as part of basic EMDR training or pursued voluntarily for professional development, certification, or advanced clinical skill-building. In consultation, the therapist presents cases, discusses treatment planning, explores the application of the 8-phase EMDR protocol, and receives support in handling complex clinical scenarios such as dissociation, blocked processing, or trauma-related comorbidities. The goal is collegial support that fosters growth, confidence, and competence. Consultation can occur one-on-one or in groups and may be conducted in person or virtually. For therapists pursuing EMDRIA Certification, 20 hours of consultation are required, 10 of which must be individual (or in small groups of 4 or fewer). Ultimately, EMDR Consultation is a key part of maintaining integrity in trauma work. It helps therapists stay grounded, effective, and attuned to both their clients and themselves. Mental Health Consultation (Eating Disorders and Psychedelic Medicine)
As a psychologist with 30 years of experience, I offer mental health consultation in eating disorders and psychedelic medicine. This consultation space is a thoughtful setting for clinicians navigating the realms of healing. Rooted in clinical practice, research and psychospiritual awareness, this form of consultation invites the practitioner to attend not only to clinical questions, but to the subtle dimensions of therapeutic work. When working with eating disorders, the consultation space becomes a container for exploring the profound disconnection from self, body, and soul that often underlies disordered eating. These conversations help clinicians track the symbolic and relational layers of food, control, embodiment, and identity—beyond diagnosis—while staying anchored in trauma-informed, ethical care. It is a place to attune to countertransference, the resonance of one’s own body, and the spiritual grief that can accompany the long path back to wholeness. In the emerging field of psychedelic medicine, consultation helps clinicians hold the extraordinary with discernment and humility. Whether supporting clients through integration or guiding them through altered states of consciousness in therapeutic settings, clinicians are invited to ground their work in both evidence and reverence. Here, consultation becomes a space to reflect on the sacred potential of these experiences—how expanded states can surface trauma, awaken archetypal material, or invite deep inner reorganization. Across both realms, this kind of consultation is less about providing answers and more about cultivating presence. It honors the therapist’s inner knowing, encourages ethical clarity, and supports the practitioner's own unfolding—recognizing that in this work, the healer is also on a path of healing.
Private Practice Consulting
Private Practice Consultation is more than strategy and structure. It is a reflective and relational space where therapists explore not just the outer architecture of their clinical practice, but the inner landscape from which that work emerges. Rooted in psychospiritual values, such consultation honors the therapist as both practitioner and person, business owner and being-in-becoming. In this space, we attend to the deeper questions: What am I truly building? Whom am I called to serve? What part of me resists visibility, or fears success? Where does my practice reflect my values, and where might it be out of alignment with my truth? Private Practice Consultation becomes a place to reconnect with vision and vocation. While the logistics—fees, marketing, boundaries, policies—are certainly explored, they are held within a larger inquiry of purpose, embodiment, and sustainability. It is as much about nervous system regulation as it is about scheduling; as much about spiritual congruence as clinical competence. This consultation process honors the unseen layers that often shape a practice: scarcity narratives, ancestral imprints, wounds around worth, or the quiet longing to create a business that feels like home. Here, growth is not pushed—it is cultivated with compassion, clarity, and care. Whether you are in the beginning stages of private practice or seeking to evolve into a fuller expression of your work, psychospiritual consultation invites you to build not just a practice, but a path—one that is ethical, embodied, and rooted in your deepest values.
